Date: 1997/09/23 Message-ID: <3427898A.50986455@halley.aero.org>#1/1 X-Deja-AN: 274936831 Organization: user$disk:[johnson]organization Newsgroups: comp.lang.ada Date: 1997-09-23T00:00:00+00:00 List-Id: I recently posted this question to the GNAT chat group and someone pointed out (probably rightfully so) that the readers may have a "bias". Now I ask the general Ada community. Any inputs would be appreciated: Can someone give me some insight into the pros and cons of using GNAT over other products? How stable is GNAT? What experiences have you had getting support from ACT? What problems/limitations have you encountered with the compiler? Would you use GNAT for a large development? Any concerns using it with Sun Solaris on SparcStations? Any information is welcome. Thank you in advance. ------------------------- Rick Johnson The Aerospace Corporation email: johnson@aero.org Phone: (310)336-3588
