What I am doing is interfacing C code compiled with the TI C compiler version 4.7 with Tartan Ada. As far as the interfacing is concerned I have everything working. I can call 'c' routines from Ada, pass structures, enable interrupts etc all with C code bindings to Ada. At least that was with Tartan Ada v5.1. It seems when Tartan (TI) upgraded there tools the COFF to TOFF converter no longer works correctly. Right now I am using their older converter and linker to work around the problem but I am still not convinced that everything is working correctly. The reason I say this is that I sent a file to Tartan (TI) that gives no errors when I convert it with version 5.1 but Tartan (TI) says they get errors using the very same converter. Has any one run into these problems? I suspect there are very few people in the Ada world doing the type of thing we are doing. Another outstanding problem we are having is getting AdaScope to work with the Performance Technologies VME/Sbus interface board. Any one have any experience with the Performance Technologies board ? Tartan says in their manual that they support it but every one I have talked to at Tartan (TI) says they have never used it !!!! Thanks for any help. John C.
