Even stipulating that programmers and development managers prefer C/C++/Java over Ada, the parties who depend on the long-term reliability, maintainability, adaptability, and transportability of their products -- upper management, stockholders and investors, real customers, even future programmers and development managers -- are not being given the facts and then making an informed decision.
