The "Toronto Globe and Mail" doesn't sound like a technical publication to me, but rather a generic newspaper. Correct? As a pilot, I know how accurately most newspapers report airplane accidents. If this level of accuracy also applies to technology strategy reports (and I'll wager it does given the technical awareness of most newspaper reporters), then I don't think I'd quote this source in a technically oriented newsgroup.
