Amongst those mighty tomes of programming genius, was a little paragraph or two that handled the clock, and an infinite number of clocks that any other entity could que up and time stuff with. I relied heavily on the following: with dos; So now, I have to go back and do a little work on that stuff. Of course, I remember everything. Yeah, right. Anyway, I have fired up the ol' ActivAda 5.5.2 for Windows NT. I'm running NT4. I'm wasting time on a compiler hang on the above line, sez that it isn't known to the library. Predef and public seem to be fine, and my library was built in the usual way. Can anyone clue me in? Is "the other keith" still out there? Man, gimme a dumb old dos box with 16megs and Alsys/PharLap and I could rule the world again. Well, I guess I would need the hot cool Java stuff too, but I'll get to that some day. Thanks for noticing me, and if anyone knows what stupid thing I'm missing here, email is ok too. -- rct The opinions above are mine and mine alone.
