I think we have a disconnect as to who "they" are. My comment concerned the developers who actually have to program in the language, not the end users of the resultant application. I was merely trying to point out some of the reasons why the decision makers in the securities industry had selected Smalltalk for their internal development efforts. The simplicity of the language and its syntax is one of its major appeals (although certainly not the only one). -Eric
