Having worked at a user help desk in college, I received many questions
about how to do things in PL/I, even after students had attempted to
find the answer in the IBM PL/I manual. Boy, that PL/I must _really_
be a terrible language!

(In other words: this may be one of the top five silliest arguments
regarding the worth of a language ever presented on 
comp.lang._anything_!)
