Given that this information _is_ in the VAX Ada language manual (and has been 
for all of this decade, and then some), yes, I have a problem with using a
user question to somehow indicate there's something wrong with the Ada 
language.

And yes, it does make you look silly to try to use it in this manner.

How's that list of real-time flight systems written in PL/I progressing?
