Yes, DEC has declined to enter the Ada 95 market directly, but no, this is not an industry trend. In fact, DEC is working with another vendor (I think I know who, but will decline until I am absolutely sure) who will provide DEC's Ada 95 solution - at least that's what I heard they were intending to do. Pure speculation on my part is that DEC does not feel strong enough to compete directly in the Ada 95 market, i.e. they don't consider Ada one of their strategic technologies.
