Senior Programmer/Software Engineer at the National Training Center, Fort Irwin, CA.

Responsible for participation in the development of creative and innovative solutions 
for successful accomplishment of National Training Center - Instrumentation System 
missions and requirements.  Will merge new systems and technologies into the NTC-IS.  
Will be responsible for repairing software errors, performing database functions, 
testing software changes, assisting the user in problem definition, performing immediate 
software patches to permit continuous usage and documentation of all software changes.

BS degree in mathematics, computer sciences, or related field and should have a minimum 
of five years specialized experience in instrumentation programming or minimum of 10 
years general programming experience.  Knowledge of Ada or C programming in a UNIX 
environment required.  Experience with ADA 95, database integration, UNIX 
administration, real-time systems and MOTIF user interface programming helpful.  
Applicant selected will be subject to a drug screening.  

This position is salaried (exempt) and located at the National Training Center, Fort 
Irwin, CA, in the Mojave Desert.  The nearest town is Barstow, CA, which is 
approximately 40 miles SW of Fort Irwin.
