Do *you* know what COBOL's > equivalent of BASIC's "ON x GOTO..." is? EVERY language is annoying when you are first learning it, or when you are very much used to using a different language. C++ folks have the same problem with Java. COBOL folks have the same problem with Fortran. Don't let that initial annoyance prevent you from broadening your horizons.
