Intel 432, Symbolics Lisp machines, probably a host of others. Such things have been attempted, and are now consigned to the ash heaps of history. It should be obvious why. When you have good, fast general purpose hardware, you can implement all sorts of cockamamie ideas on it, and if something doesn't work out, you can try something else. When you start implementing those ideas in hardware and they don't work out, you're left with a useless boat anchor.
