Message-ID: <24960@pprg.unm.edu> Date: 22 Sep 89 02:18:22 GMT Organization: U. of New Mexico, Albuquerque List-Id: I am new to this group and hope there to be an archive that contains what I need. I am working on building an environment allowing one to convert C/NeWS code to ADA/NeWS. I have an environment that works, but I am looking to clean things up and increasing the speed of execution by using more 'features' of ADA. My questions then are: Does an ADA package exist that defines the "standard" UNIX (BSD 4.3) system calls? Does an ADA package exist that defines the "standard" UNIX (BSD 4.3) library calls (i.e. strlen, printf, scanf, etc.)? I understand that someone was working on an ADA version of printf but was waiting for a paper they had writen on the subject to be published. Has this paper been published and is printf available? What about a version of scanf? Thanks in advance. --- W.
