NASA does have companies that work for it. I'm the one who has bemoaned NASA/JSC giving up on Ada here in this forum. Where the original poster got his information I would like to know. What branch of NASA is he speaking about? JSC is just going with the flow. The software managers just know that C++ is trendy and their programmers already know it. There is no trade study or rationale reason expressed that I know of.
