In the survey taken just prior to the most recent SIGAda conference,
several of the respondants had requested a return of the Dear Ada
column that used to appear in the journal Ada Letters.

The purpose of the column is to answer any and all Ada language
questions, however simple or complex.  Questions from those new to the
language are especially encouraged.
