Boeing and Airbus chose Ada for their avionics SW development, most nuclear reactor systems are in Ada, and just about every country in the world except the USA has an air traffic control system written in Ada. The language is not going to disappear anytime soon. This does not mean there are not good people looking for work or good jobs looking for people.
