Do you know anything to the contrary? You are correct -- the person I talked to said that she expected that Rational will maintain the Ada 83 version of the compiler. However, there will be no Ada 9X upgrade, and I got the impression that the maintenance for the existing compiler would be limited to the bare minimum. I don't know how long they will continue to offer the 83 compiler for sale.
