The improvements in Ada 9X majorly enhance the language's usefulness while remaining in a strongly typed environment. The variant record and 'ADDRESS tricks one uses in Ada 83 to implement OO style programming and callbacks now can be done properly. Ada 9X! Ada 9X! Ada 9X! The interest is off the scale. Cheers, Ray blaak@csri.toronto.edu P.S. The GNAT project may just be the best thing that has happened for Ada.
