Rational today unveiled its Software Engineering for Educational Development 
(SEED) program, which provides FREE software to accredited educational
institutions, including military academies, in the United States and
Canada. 

The program is designed to provide universities with state-of-the-art 
software technology for training future software-engineering professionals.

Rational's SEED program makes available Rational Apex, a fully integrated
solution that features editing, program browsing, compilation, and 
debugging, as well as team-oriented configuration management, version 
control, and architectural support for Ada projects.
