In responding to that note, I looked up listings for it in Ada Letters. I must say that I was disappointed. The first listing in the "Meetings" section is in the Mar/Apr 1993 issue. That issue also contains a "call for participation", which lists a submission deadline of March 17, 1993. I received my copy of that issue on March 22, five days PAST the deadline. Now, I had received back in December a Call for Participation, which does provide enough time for preparation. However, I do not much like the idea that only those on some sort of preferred list (I attended TRI-Ada '92) get told in time to prepare papers. Moreover, there should have been meeting announcements starting much earlier than Mar/Apr. OOPSLA '93, taking place within a week of TRI-Ada '93 but not really an Ada conference, was announced starting in Nov/Dec 1992. We should do at least as well. The date and location for TRI-Ada '93 were known, as I remember, at TRI-Ada '92 last November.
