One of the special interest topics this year is Ada, and thus demos involving, supporting, or using Ada would be fine candidates. And, while I'm sure that there are many interesting potential demos around, I don't know what or where they are. So, if you have a demo, or you know someone who does, please contact me at: Bjorn N. There has always been plenty of space for demos at OOPSLAs past and there is no reason to believe otherwise this time around -- good demos will get in. (Note that sales pitches will not. Also note that it is possible to give a good technical demo of a commercial product without giving a sales pitch.) I encourage the submission of demos of interesting commercial products, interesting research efforts, interesting ... get the idea? "But why should I bother?," you ask. Because OOPSLA is the premier gathering of technical people in the object oriented community, and a fantastic, out-of-this-world demo to this crowd will do wonders for the image of your system, framework, application, solution, ...
