We are hoping to apply this to our software reuse program. Note that we have access to and have reviewed all of the documents/products of the various DOD and Industry initiatives (STARS, Asset, CARDS, SPC, SEI). We are also aware of WAIS and other such mechanisms. We view the classification problem as not one of computer science, but one of library science. Has anyone come up with a general classification hierarchy for computer hardware/software? Steve Norman Martin Marietta Astronautics Group PO Box 179 Denver CO 80201 snorman@den.mmc.com
