Meridian Ada works and is being actively supported, as evidenced by a recent upgrade release. Alsys Ada does not work under System 7, and I was told by the Alsys folks at the last TRI-Ada that they have no present plans to revive the product. All of which pretty much settles that issue. I am a regular user of Meridian Ada for software development. It's far from the world's best compiler, but I certainly find it adequate for my needs.
