Message-ID: <1990Feb14.143308.23701@asterix.drev.dnd.ca> Date: 14 Feb 90 14:33:08 GMT Distribution: comp Organization: DREV, Defence Research Est. Valcartier List-Id: In order to develop RT-AI programs in Ada, the need for good performances using an inference engine might be crucial. I am looking for references and/or already existing inferece mechanisms in Ada. The implementation of an inference engine in Ada is apparently more efficient in terms of performances than AI shell/ language interfaced with ada like Prologue (of course all depends of the user-implementation). If somebody already heard about it or ever experimented such mechanism implementation, i would be very grateful to hear of it. Is it realistic to do so, and to develop AI software for special purpose in Ada ? -- jean berger DREV, Defence Research Establishment,Valcartier jeanb@quebec.drev.dnd.ca POBox 8800, Courcelette,Quebec, CANADA, G0A 1R0 (131.132.34.10) Office: (418) 844-4645 Home (418) 683-2381
