That is understandable; from the other direction though when *specifically*=

I think they don't.

Indeed, I think it may be the perception of progress/work. Ada forces a lot=
 of work done up-front, which is starkly contrasted by languages like PHP (=
i.e. magic fairy-dust typing and error-apathy); oddly I think the fight-the=
-language/counteract-the-pitfalls contributes to the perception of work (bu=
t the thinking is directed at overcoming decencies of the language instead =
of solving the problem).
