The following message documents the location of PKARC 3.61 on SIMTEL20. Note: I've seen this kind of thing happen before, and I've personnally adopted an attitude that I'm not willing to jump in immediately and start using the new version. I tend to let others do that, wait a while and listen for any problems, and then upgrade after the next version or two if there are no problems reported. The INFO-IBMPC email list is a good place to listen for problems with such software. No slight on any of the software developers, but there is a natural human tendency to try to fix problems like this (especially when they receive a lot of attention) as soon as possible, and, as the complexity of a program grows, fixing one problem may introduce others (one of the advantages to good software design in Ada is to overcome such problems, right?). Message follows. This is an upgrade/bug fix and is intended to replace 3.6. Please discontinue use of 3.6. There are some potentially serious problems which have been corrected in 3.61. I downloaded the new version from Phil's BBS in order to assure its authenticity.
