	As a follow-up to Frank Wancho's message about the availability
of accounts on SIMTEL20, I would like to add that this provides a direct
file transfer capability for the users of the Ada Software Repository and
the other software repositories on SIMTEL20.  You can sit on SIMTEL20,
browse through the repositories directly, and transfer files over
the DDN directly to your PC using any one of three mainframe-micro
file transfer protocols (ie, Kermit, XMODEM, and YMODEM).  Other less-known
protocols are also available (ie, ZMODEM).  The file transfer tools
on SIMTEL20 automatically negotiate binary communications on the DDN
when they need to.
