The fee depends on which compiler ( host, target combination ). Here are the prices from my current bill. 386 DOS to 80386 Cross compiler $5,000 286 DOS to 80386 Cross compiler $2,000 386 Unix native $660 386 Unix native tools $200 Sun 386i native $1320 Sun 386i native tools $400 These are yearly fees on top of the compiler prices, which if I recall correctly are 2-3 times the maintence fees. What you get for this is telephone support and updates. I am somewhat disappointed is the support as the version of the compilers I am using are 4.3 when the current version of alsys compilers for other platforms is 5.x. It has been over a year since they have put of these versions of there compiler. It makes you wonder what they are spending the money on, because we have probably only used ~40 hours of support in the last 1.5 years. On the plus side the compiler do work fairly well most of the time, but I would certianly like to see a new version with some bugs fixed.
