Curiously, one thing I've noticed from my experience is that the programmers I've worked with either spell almost perfectly, or quite poorly---there doesn't seem to be anything in the middle. (And I'm only talking about those for whom English is their first language.) I could be wrong, but this lack of a middle seems more pronounced among programmers than in the rest of the population. -- Adam
