You can go to RedHat, or SuSe, or the other GNU/Linux companies, and download their software for free. If you get their CDs, you can make as many copies as you want, and redistribute them if you like. So anyone can be RedHat, can't they? Why doesn't any developer who feels misused create his own distribution, and begin collecting the profits?
