In fact, there is nothing that could be squeezed out of using C or C++ that could not be squeezed out of using a good Ada compiler. Quite the opposite. The general principle is that the more information a compiler is given, the more optimisation it can perform. An Ada program gives more information than the equivalent C or C++ program.
