Solved it - GPS is supplied with, and older version of the DLL, but 
install puts "C:\GNAT\2008\bin" before of "C:\GtkAda\bin" in the search 
path for DLLs
To correct goto My Computer | Properties | Advanced | Environment 
Variables | System variables | Select "Path" | Edit and alter the order
